Inscription: This piece of Pentagon Limestone (B0045) is a lasting memorial to the 184 people who died in the September 11, 2001 attack on the Pentagon. American Airlines flight 77 was commandeered by terrorists who crashed it into the Pentagon. We claim this ground in remembrance and to honor those whose lives were lost, their families, and all who sacrifice that we may live in freedom. We will never forget.
